NSHG Annual Conference

Plans are currently being made for the NSHG's Annual Conference to be held at Double Tree Hotel, September 7 - 9, 2000 in Denver, Colorado. The conference theme is "Year of the Hispanic Woman."Those interested in participating as a speaker should contact Dr. Elena McKissack at (303) 988-1453.


NSHG Monthly Membership Meetings

The NSHG membership meetings are usually held the 3rd Saturday of each month at Berkley Community Church, 3707 W. 50th Avenue, Denver, Colorado. The business meeting begins at 2 p.m.


NSHG Hispanic Research Group

The NSHG Hispanic Research Group meets the 3rd Saturday of each month at 12:30 p.m. and the Wednesday following the membership meeting between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. The research group meets at Berkley Community Church, 3707 W. 50th Avenue, Denver, Colorado; and NSHG members have access to a growing library of genealogical and historical information not readily available in the Rocky Mountain area.


Mexican Research Group Meetings

If you have completed your New Mexico colonization and recolonization research, and you are ready to research your lines in Mexico and Spain, contact the Mexican Research Group.

The Mexican Research Group meetings are usually held the 1st Saturday of each month at Hadley Library, 1890 South Grove St., Denver, Colorado at 1 p.m. Contact: Lucio Rodriguez at (303) 936-1339.


NSHG Committee Meetings

NSHG Annual Picnic

The annual picnic will be held August 12, 2000 at Anderson Park in Wheat Ridge, CO.
